Thank you for your interest in working with us!

We are SO excited to help you bring your project to life!

Hi, I’m Megan Smalley and I’m passionate about helping you create merch that people actually want to wear. When people wear impactful merch, conversations are started, positive reviews about your business are shared and school pride is worn around town.

Let’s talk about next steps.

  1. Step 1: Save my phone number - 334-463-0229. This is my work number, so you’re never bothering me. My sales team and I work through messages during work hours as fast as we can. If you have a question, texting is much easier. I am pretty booked all day, so taking unscheduled calls is hard. Also, save my email address - megan@scarletandgoldshop.com

Step 2: Submit your homework in the form below.

I promise, this is the hardest part! I am taking you all the way back to the days of homework. I call this step your homework because our team cannot move your project forward until you turn it in. The amount of time, effort and thought that you put into your homework will allow us to get your designs right the first time.

WHY DO WE REQUIRE HOMEWORK?

We have had so many clients say “I love all of your stuff! I trust you! Just do whatever you think.” Our team will brainstorm ideas, do what we think looks best and then present the designs. It’s never what the client envisioned. This always ends in starting over on designs. We have learned that even if clients are huge fans of our design work at Scarlet & Gold (I don’t blame you… we have the most talented creative team), they still have a vision in their head for what they’d like the designs to look like.

The homework process is intended to get that vision out of your head and onto paper, so that we can bring it to life even better than imagined (in a timely, efficient way).

Please make sure you watch the videos below before filling out the form.

ALL ABOUT HOMEWORK

In the video, Megan will explain what Scarlet & Gold Homework is, why we require it, how it helps our team and how we need you to complete it. Megan will also explain the importance of thinking about and deciding who will be wearing the merch you’re creating BEFORE you select designs.

How many designs can I pick?

FOR BULK ORDERS:

We will do as many design options as you are willing to commit to a minimum order of 24 for. Please think about how many designs you want to order at least a run of 24 for before you submit your designs below.

FOR PRE-ORDERS:

We recommend 1 design to start with for pre-orders until you’re confident that you can sell product. Pre-orders require a minimum of 24 per item, so we want to set you up for a successful pre-order that makes you money.

FOR WEBSTORES:

Please pick the number of designs that you selected in your webstore package. For each design, you will get to pick 4 products. We do this so that the products display in nice, easy to follow rows on our website.

Where can I see design options?

We have over 200 designs you can choose from here. The design options page password is S&Gcustom2024!

We are always adding to the design options list. The designs listed here are fully customizable. We can change any of the colors, words or graphics. You’re also welcome to send us design ideas you find other places (our shop site, pinterest, etsy or even in your favorite boutique). Please keep in mind, if you send us a design you find outside of S&G, we will not copy other people’s design work. As creatives, we will always look for a way to altar it and make it our own. Please share your ideas for customization.

If you are requesting an illustration, we will need a high resolution photo of what we are illustrating. For example, if we are illustrating a building, we will need a photo of the building at the angle you want us to draw it. If you send us a photo at an angle, that is the exact angle we will draw the building. If you want details brought to life, we need to be able to see the details clearly in the photo.
